Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah GeorgiaBonaventure Cemetery
Almost certainly Bonaventure is the most beautiful cemetery in the United States with it's remarkable statuary and moss draped live oaks.

The Telfair Museum of Art
Traces its history from 1886 when the Telfair family home opened to the public as an art museum and school. Now comprised of the original building, the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences, a National Historic Landmark building, and the Owens-Thomas House, also a National Historic Landmark, the Telfair is currently constructing a third building in downtown Savannah.

Savannah is Georgia's oldest cathedral city, and its beautiful Cathedral epitomizes the centuries long history of Catholics in this state.

Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace
Built in 1821, the house has been elegantly restored to reflect the 1880s and furnished with many original Gordon family pieces, including artwork by Juliette Gordon Low. Located in the heart of the Savannah Historic District, "the Birthplace," as it is commonly called by Girl Scouts nationwide, was the city's first National Historic Landmark.

The Historic Railroad Shops
The Historic Railroad Shops complex located in Savannah, Georgia, is among the finest remaining examples of Victorian railroad architecture and design and is the most intact antebellum railroad repair complex in the country.

River Street Riverboat
The 400 passenger River Queen and the 600 passenger Georgia Queen are replicas of the boats that once operated upon the rivers of America. Each operates under United States Coast Guard regulations and conforms to rigid requirements for passenger safety.

Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum
Founded in 1966, exhibits ship models, paintings and maritime antiques, principally from the great era of Atlantic trade and travel between England and America during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Savannah History Museum
Housed in the old Central of Georgia Railway passenger shed, a National Historic Landmark built in the 1850s and 1860s. The railway used the building until 1972. In 1984, a historical attraction called The Great Savannah Exposition opened in the building.
